I have been searching for a new (used) car since the end of February and the search was starting to get exhausting. After visiting every car dealership in the area (New Bern, NC) at least twice, I extended the car search to the internet, visiting every surrounding (Greenville, Raleigh, Clinton, etc) car dealership's website as well as cars.com and autotrader.com, looking for reliable car brands in my price range. I was very close to purchasing a car from another dealership a few weeks ago but when the check engine light came on while test driving it overnight, I took that as a sign that this was not the car for me. So, while browsing through the used car list on the Greenville Nissan website, I found about 3 cars that matched what I was looking for, so I called the internet contact person/associate, Josh O'Neal, and was told to come in at my earliest convenience to check out my selections. Unfortunately, due to a family emergency, I wasn't able to visit on the day I'd originally planned to and had to wait until the next weekend to stop by, but by then, all of my selections had been sold. Josh and I stayed in touch over the next 2 weeks and finally, on April 4th, we had a stroke of luck, as someone had just traded in a 2009 Nissan Sentra. I was about 90% sold on the car but was still hesitant about purchasing it. Josh asked what else he could do to sell me the car and I mentioned a warranty, as my biggest fear was to drive off the lot with a new car, only to have the check engine light come on and I go back to the dealership for help and they turn their back on me. He worked it out to where the car could be certified by Nissan if I was to purchase it and this gave me a sense of security. So, on April 6th, I was able to come down, check out, and test drive the Sentra. Everything checked out and I bought the car and Josh even threw in a bottle of my favorite soda, Coca-Cola! Not only did Josh make this a laid back, stress-free process but he was also very personable. I also worked with Ricky Stox to finish the process and he, too, was very laid back and personable. Overall, I got a great deal on the car and between my research and Josh's help, I am pleased with my decision!
